Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of terms
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of waterdamagerestorationseattlewa.com and the services arranged through Seattle Water Damage Restoration Services. By using the website or submitting a service request, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any property owner or association you represent.
If you do not agree, do not use the site. You confirm you are at least 18 years old and have authority to authorize work at the service address. These Terms apply to services offered in Seattle, WA and throughout the greater Seattle area.
Description of services and role of Seattle Water Damage Restoration Services
Seattle Water Damage Restoration Services operates a local platform that connects property owners and managers with independent, third‑party contractors for restoration and related services. Water Damage Restoration, mold remediation, mold removal, mold testing, and thermal fogging odor removal are arranged through independent contractors; Seattle Water Damage Restoration Services does not perform, supervise, or warrant the work.
Contractors set their own schedules, pricing, and service methods. Availability depends on provider capacity, location, and site conditions. Any agreement to perform work is formed directly between you and the selected contractor.
Service area coverage
Typical service coverage includes Seattle, WA, Everett, WA, Federal Way, WA, Kirkland, WA, and Bellevue, WA, along with nearby communities such as Kent, WA, Renton, WA, Redmond, WA, Sammamish, WA, Shoreline, WA, Issaquah, WA, Maple Valley, WA, Mercer Island, WA, Kenmore, WA, Union Hill-Novelty Hill, WA, and Bothell, WA. Coverage can change based on provider availability and job requirements.
User responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about the property, confirm you have the right to request service, and obtain any necessary consents from landlords, HOAs, or insurers.
You will ensure safe, reasonable access to the work area; disclose known hazards (e.g., asbestos, lead paint, electrical or structural issues); secure pets and valuables; and follow contractor safety instructions (including keeping equipment powered during drying).
You will not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or post content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes any third‑party rights.
Scheduling, estimates, and payment
After you submit a request, a contractor may contact you to discuss the scope, timing, and site conditions. Any time windows are estimates and may shift due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs.
Contractors may offer on‑site assessments and written estimates. Estimates are based on information available at the time and may change if hidden conditions are discovered (for example, behind walls or under flooring).
All pricing, invoicing, deposits, change orders, taxes, insurance billing, and payment methods are set by the contractor. Payments are made directly to the contractor. Seattle Water Damage Restoration Services is not a party to the service contract and does not collect or hold your payments.
Cancellations or rescheduling may be subject to contractor policies and fees. Standard operating hours are 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, seven days a week; appointment availability may vary by provider.
Independent contractors
Contractors are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, or partners of Seattle Water Damage Restoration Services. They are solely responsible for their own labor, tools, materials, methods, vehicles, safety practices, insurance, and licensing where required.
Any warranties or guarantees on workmanship come from the contractor. Seattle Water Damage Restoration Services does not control, direct, or guarantee the quality, timing, or outcome of contractor services.
Insurance and property conditions
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate property and contents insurance. Contractors may, at their discretion, assist with documentation for insurance claims; they do not guarantee coverage outcomes or insurer approvals.
Moisture mapping, demolition, containment, odor treatments, and equipment placement may be necessary to address damage. You acknowledge that drying or remediation processes can generate noise, heat, or temporary odors, and may require portions of the property to remain inaccessible during work.
No professional advice
Information on the site is provided for general guidance and is not a substitute for on‑site assessments by qualified professionals. Decisions about repairs, remediation methods, and product selection should be based on contractor evaluations and applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer instructions.
